Scott Riddle to Head Local Supply Chain Council
Scott Riddle, Co-Founder and Senior Partner of M33 Integrated Solutions, is the new President of the Triad Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). CSCMP describes itself as “the preeminent association for individuals involved in supply chain management.” The council helps to provide educational, career development, and networking opportunities to its members and to the entire profession. CSCMP's roundtables evolved over the years as supply chain managers expressed an interest in meeting to discuss mutual problems and ideas. Such members were interested in educational sessions similar to those at the Council’s annual conference, but offered locally on a more frequent basis. When asked why he helped to found the Roundtable, Mr. Riddle remarked, “because of the many manufacturers and distributors located along the 1-85 and I-95 corridors in North Carolina, the Piedmont-Triad is a natural logistics cluster. It stands to reason that professionals involved in the supply chain management industry are tackling many of the same problems right now, and that we should be able to meet locally and communicate with one another about trends and issues impacting our industry. It’s our hope that the Triad Roundtable of CSCMP will serve that function.”
The full board consists of:
